A first look with Daddy

What does a little girl dream of while she is playing tea party or having sleepovers? Of course, her wedding day! Every little detail is dreamed about from the dress, the flowers, even the husband... with glossy eyes young girls through the ages dreamed and planned their perfect day. Kayla planned her perfect day and wanted to make sure her father was the first to see has baby girl in her perfect dress.

We put daddy and daughter back to back.  We then asked daddy to turn around so he could get the first glimpse of the little girl that used to sit on his knee, now become a bride. The first look is a new tradition that many brides love to share with fathers and husbands to be. You can see from the images that this was a moment in time that will not be forgotten.

Kat Mack Photography is beyond excited to be a part of Kaylas bridal portraits. When we sat down to plan her beautiful session, she let us in on a little secret. Kayla is part of the TLC hit reality show "Say Yes to the Dress"! This  Houston bridal portrait was so important to Kayla since she was having a destination wedding in Italy.  The entire family would unfortunately not all be making the trek to Italy so having a first look during the bridal portrait was the perfect option for Kayla.

Once they happy couple returned from Italy, they had a second wedding celebration that everyone was able to attend and enjoy.
